AUGUST 2026 POWER BILL RATE UPDATE 
Good news to our valued DORELCO consumers! 
For August 2026, DORELCO’s overall power rates have generally decreased compared with July 2026.
Generation Charge: ₱9.1869 → ₱7.0682/kWhDecrease: ₱2.1187/kWh
Transmission Charge: ₱1.5053 → ₱1.9779/kWhIncrease: ₱0.4726/kWh
Distribution Charge: ₱2.0750 → ₱2.0750/kWh
No Change
Other Charges: ₱2.1841 → ₱2.1272/kWhDecrease: ₱0.0569/kWh
As a result, the August 2026 VAT-exclusive power rates are:
Residential: ₱13.2483/kWh
Commercial: ₱11.6238/kWh
Industrial: ₱9.1954/kWhCompared with July, the residential rate decreased by ₱1.7030/kWh, while commercial and industrial rates decreased by ₱1.8266/kWh and ₱2.1756/kWh, respectively.
The decrease in the overall power rate is largely reflected in the lower Generation Charge, which more than offset the increase in the Transmission Charge.
