AUGUST 2026 POWER BILL RATE UPDATE 
Good news to our valued DORELCO consumers! 
For August 2026, DORELCOโs overall power rates have generally decreased compared with July 2026.
Generation Charge: โฑ9.1869 โ โฑ7.0682/kWhDecrease: โฑ2.1187/kWh
Transmission Charge: โฑ1.5053 โ โฑ1.9779/kWhIncrease: โฑ0.4726/kWh
Distribution Charge: โฑ2.0750 โ โฑ2.0750/kWh
No Change
Other Charges: โฑ2.1841 โ โฑ2.1272/kWhDecrease: โฑ0.0569/kWh
As a result, the August 2026 VAT-exclusive power rates are:
Residential: โฑ13.2483/kWh
Commercial: โฑ11.6238/kWh
Industrial: โฑ9.1954/kWhCompared with July, the residential rate decreased by โฑ1.7030/kWh, while commercial and industrial rates decreased by โฑ1.8266/kWh and โฑ2.1756/kWh, respectively.
The decrease in the overall power rate is largely reflected in the lower Generation Charge, which more than offset the increase in the Transmission Charge.
