DORELCO Power Rate up in July

DORELCO residential consumers are facing an uptick in power rates totaling to Php 16.4521 per kilowatt-hour for July billing which primarily attributed to a significant surge in the generation charge imposed by power suppliers.

NGCP’s Transmission Charge lower down to 0.9183 per kwhr for this month.

While DORELCO’s distribution charge of Php 2.0750, which covers the expenses associated with transmitting electricity from the point of generation to homes, has remained unchanged.

However, the substantial rise in the generation charge has overshadowed this static distribution cost, resulting in an overall increase in the electricity bill for consumers.
