In celebration of the National Electrification Awareness Month (NEAM) where Electric Cooperatives in the country with the strong support of the National Electrification Administration (NEA) dedicate the month of August to celebrate and raise awareness on the significant contribution of electrification programs in nation building, DORELCO joined the Simultaneous Tree Planting and Line Clearing on Thursday, August 24.<\/div>\n

Earlier, DORELCO Employees travelled to Burauen, Leyte to plant the 80 fruit-bearing and hardwood seedlings on the land near the river in Brgy. San Jose West Burauen, Leyte.<\/div>\n

However, the clearing team composed of the technical people of DORELCO positioned themselves along Brgy. Quilao Tolosa up to Tabontabon Leyte and performed the clearing of primary lines to keep lines free from vegetations.<\/div>\n

The simultaneous tree planting and line clearing activity is observed annually.<\/div>\n
